An Awkward, Rambling Video Message From Aaron McCargo

We’re not sure exactly what is happening in this video, but we’ll try to sum it up for you:

Big Daddy is loitering outside Rowan University, waiting for his brother Donovan. He’s rambling about chicken and some “knockin” corn, and slapping his hands together a lot for emphasis. Donovan finally appears, and the two greet each other with a kiss on each cheek like they’re suddenly Heidi Klum. Aaron explains he’s “just makin’ his rounds, yo” and then they to make sexual innuendos about eating hot dogs and doing sit-ups. Some sort of message pops up on the screen in green text, Donovan leaves, and Aaron encourages people to stay in school (since “not everybody can be a chef” and “not everybody can be big daddy!”) Suddenly and without warning, Aaron is surrounded by chicken wings and is clapping louder than a mother at her son’s first little league game. After a really bad edit that cuts Aaron off mid-sentence (or would that make it a really good edit?), he reappears trying to ride some 7 year old girl’s bicycle – complete with a basket and some pinwheels.

    ok, is it me or is Aaron in love with himself? why does he laugh after everything he says?

    i dont get it. I understand he is new to fame, but good lord…he’s at an 8 and i need him at a 2 on the obnoxious scale.

    How can a borderline retarded man win the Next Food Network Star ? Those douches at FN were so anxious to get a black man on the air , they reached a point of no return and gave this jamoke the title.

    These FN hacks do nothing to honor and respect culinary tradtions. They should realize we don’t want a fuckin MTV with food. Tuschman should be ashamed at what he has done. Dickhead.

    Tuschman and Fogelson have really made FN a mockery. They must be raking in the bucks because now it looks like they’re snatching up former public TV hosts (via their recent acquisition of Daisy Martinez).

    Look at it like this: it’s either McCargo or the dude that will be hosting that idiotic show “Will Work For Food”. To think these were the top two contenders on the last TNFNS. So much for carefully selecting an actual food personality. I’m really convinced that Fieri Troll was a reaction to the ill-fatedness of Fruit & Fibre (“The Heart Boys”)

    I think the network needs to have a talk with this guy because his behaviour is embarrassing to them. Acting like he is on drugs in the middle of the day for no apparent reason is sort of bizarre don’t you think ?

    What a jackass. I think he needs to get to a rehab.

    Never liked Aaron McCargo Jr, and never will. I tried giving season 2 of Big Daddy’s Kitchen a try, but it is just as bad (if not worse) than season 1.

    I really don’t know if Aaron was the best “chef” out there, but he’s made some good food and he has a great personality. I think he’s super cool…believe me, if you’re looking for the negative in a person you’ll find it in Jesus himself! So take the guy at face value; you don’t know him any other way!
