I have to say, I used to hate on ‘ole girl but I’ve grown to love her. She has such a zest and love of life (yeah, it’s probably the fake lemon and Stoli but still) and she doesn’t even seem to take herself seriously. What’s not to love? I don’t take her as a “serious cook” and instead, just watch her show for humor and it works out great! Who wouldn’t love a woman that has cocktail hour at 4:30 every day???!!

Granted, Sandra makes some rather questionable stuff (and the use of bottled lemon juice and pre-sliced veggies kind of grates on me, along with the overuse of pumpkin pie spice), but I don’t hate her. I think a lot of the people who despise her are jealous of her success. She fills a niche for a certain segment of the FN viewing public. By the way, all of us have used seasoning packets at least once in our lifetime! For me, the playa hatin’ is all in jest; I get a kick out of making fun of some of the crazy things she does. One thing I will say, though; Sandra has an on-screen charisma and charm that very few of the other FN hosts have. I would take ten Sandra Lees over one Duff Goldman.
I don’t “hate” anyone on Food Network, except Aaron McCargo Jr. He is unwatchable to me. As much as I think Sandra Lee is a kook, and as much as I love to rag on her, I still watch her show every day. She’s entertaining. But I am glad sites like this exist so we can all laugh at her and call her out on her BS!
I forgot to say, she does the worst Cher impersonation I’ve ever seen in my life!
Get out! She’s using puff pastry for her pastry puffs?! Why didn’t I think of that?! I’ve been using kitty litter mixed with toothpaste this whole time…
I find her to be, along with her “meals,” completely fake. She’s the most fake personality on TV, the FoodNetwork or otherwise. Something about her makes me want to punch her in the face…

Her kitchen looks like a JUNK SHOP. It makes me nervous. I could never cook with all that shit around me.
I wish she’d just stop saying words 2 times in a row. “Super super simple.” “Really really delicious.” We get it. Change the record, Sandy!
Her Halloween shows are the absolute lowest. Her Cher was excreable, but she really hit bottom with her Barbra impersonation.
But even that episode pales in comparison to her recent “Halloween Queens” episode. She looked like a complete ASS dressed up as queens past.

Hm. I saw this clip on youtube a while back. I thought the same thing then as I do now. Wearing a long hair wig and cooking at the same time is pretty gross. I couldn’t concentrate at all on what she was doing as I was cringing everytime she leaned forward!
Oh sandy, my milf, once, just once could i give you a meal (very high in protein/salt, just like your meals)!!! Of course, it would be after a night of drinks & cheesy “Neely Inneuedos”, while I tell you sweet little lies how you’re the best personality (ahem) under Bob Tuschman.
