Bobby Flay Will Host 2nd Kentucky Derby Party

Published on: February 10, 2009 – 2:06 pm by Jillian Madison Comment

flay-derbypartyBobby Flay just signed on for his 2nd year as the official host and spokesperson of the Kentucky Derby Party website. He has the monumental, life-altering task of giving people tips and recipe ideas for their private Kentucky Derby parties.

Flay issued this quote to the media: “As a horse racing enthusiast, I love attending the Derby, and I also enjoy throwing horse racing parties for family and friends.”

What’s Bobby Flay’s idea of a racing party? Grilled burgers, pin the tail on the donkey, and souvenir “Boy Meets Horse” t-shirts for everyone? Thanks, but we’ll pass.

I wonder if he will stiff the wait staff . Or make them pool their tips so the floor managers can get in on the action.

The hat is to die for. It goes perfectly with his spatula. He needs to be holding a mint julep too. The picture is just too funny for words.
