I really want to know why this fellow insists on pronouncing Fieri,Fee-Etti.

Now I know tons of Italians. I visit Italy 3 -4 times a year. Most Italians I know are befuddled at the odd pronunciation. I can see dragging the soft RRRR out, but why does the TT come into it.

Here in France, we would never worship a guy like this. We would never allow him to call himself a chef.
