It seems to me that some of the people who watch this show, don’t understand that cakes like the Macy’s cake are “showpieces” and therefore inedible.
There is always edible cake delivered with the showpiece.
For a structure as large as this one, and some of their larger pieces, fondant
is easier to work with, as it can be stretched, draped, etc.
I enjoy the show. Yes, some of the team can come across as dorky,
but I think that adds to the appeal of the show. I’d rather watch this than
Semi-ho made, Ask Aida, $10 dinners, or Rachel Ray and her annoying shrieking of EVOO and
sammies. What adult calls a sandwich a sammie? Sandra, Aida, Rachel, and the rest of those untalented hacks need to be gone before someone drops a house on them.

Yknow what would be the ultimate hell? Having the Neely’s visit Charm City Cakes. Pat and his tiny beady black eyes making sexy comments to that loud little ghetto “spice fairy” while Mary Alice and Duff giggle in a corner with their snide unfunny remarks and practical jokes on the people who are keeping him in business.
