The whole thing about a blog is that you can choose to read it or not. It either appeals enough for you respond or choose not to. If he chooses to talk bible, he can. If he chooses to call himself 'your favorite cook' he can. There are no rules because it is HIS blog and especially because it is his, not yours, you cannot get to make any rules. If it was his restaurant, you wouldn't choose to eat there again because of whatever reason you choose - food's not great; he keeps talking bible at you; he keeps telling you he's your favorite chef ; or such. So you can choose not to read his blog. You can't make rules here. You can vote with your feet as they say - walk on by!

McCargo is a classic example of a manufactured persona. He beat out a dozen or so contestants, half of which had no business being there.

You're reaching into the shallow end of the talent pool when you've got contestants fresh out of cooking school.

Nothing wrong with quoting scripture as long as he's not trying to convert you. I certainly didn't get that feel from him at all.

Why, why, why?! Why do I even bother to have this guy's show on as background noise? Yesterday's show was all about sandwiches. Yes. Sandwiches. I mean SERIOUSLY?!

One of my culinary pet peeves is a "recipe" for a sandwich.
