This woman needs to go away forever.

  2. Dan says:

Oh thats how Gina rolls, with Jack Daniels and ice in wine glasses?!

  3. Jenna says:

Sadly, her upper arm is bigger than my thigh.

  4. Erin says:

There’s so much clutter and junk around her, it’s making me nervous.

  5. Heather says:

“BITCH, PLEASE” is probably the world’s most perfect quote for that photo.

  6. manny says:

    “shooooot”

  7. Kyle says:

She could get stuck to an office building with those set of lips .

  8. scot says:

pretty girl. what an attractive picture. god she’s a fugly ho! i agree with erin. could she have ANY more shit around her? clean up your nasty kitchen! bitch please indeed…

  9. Jenna1980 says:

Funniest caption I’ve seen in a while, LOL!

And is she drinking a glass full of straight Jack?

    Go ahead on, girl!

    Wow that is FUNNY!

But yes, all the clutter is making me nervous!

  10. Kyle says:

I wonder if any shootings took place after the party at the Neelys ? You can clean up to a certain extent, but you can’t change em.

    • april says:

you must be racist Kyle! Get a life! don’t hate on a beautiful black woman! You must be ugly since you want to make fun!Kyle you really need a life!

  11. Deb M says:

This entire show needs to go not just GIIIIIIIINA. What they cook sucks, her voice is like finger nails on a chalk board and he’s a winy wimp. If I hear them call each other “BABY” one more time I’ll puke. But oh there won’t be one more time because I refuse to watch the show! Is TFN trying to dumb down the shows to try and appeal to what they think is a lower mentality black audience? Shame on you FTN…

  12. Deen says:

She’s from Memphis! What do you expect?

I love them – but then, I’m from Memphis, too. Even so, “Bitch Please” was the perfect tagline for that picture.

  13. Byrdie says:

This is another FN show that I have tried to watch from start to finish and just can’t do it. Those two are just too syrupy sweet to each other it’s sickening. And phony. I can only imagine the minute the camera is off, they each go there own way, screaming and yelling and cussing at each other. And give me a break on the constant talking talking talking. I don’t care if you’re chopping an onion, just chop it and move on. I don’t need to hear about it. And don’t ask me why, but I get a weird feeling when I see him cooking. I don’t know what it is, but it’s just bizarre and unnatural, as though he doesn’t belong there. Weird…

  14. Miguel says:

I wretch when I hear them go into their routine. She is the most annoying thing on TV and the food they make is unappealing to me.

Obviously they have show to appeal to a certain demographic . As for Road Tasted, I wouldn’t let either of them into my shop for whatever reason.

  15. Byrdie says:

    More like “Road Kill Tested”…

  16. LOL says:

There needs to be a drinking game out of how many times Gina says “‘kay” while making food on that show.

  17. why so harsh says:

I know they can be a little annoying but what food network chef isn’t. They all have annoying qualities, its tv personalities people! I have tested the recipes and they make delicious food. Keep up the good work Neely’s!! I love your show!!!

  18. Tammy says:

    Kyle

You sound racist to me. I think you need to broaden your horizons. Turn the TV off and read a book!!!!!!

  19. J says:

Why so harsh, have you made their shrimp on a srtick yet? LOL!

  20. Denise Green says:

I believe the question was asked, “What do you expect, they’re from Memphis?” Don’t you think enough has been said? They’re from Memphis!

  21. oh_come_on says:

Welcome to match.com meets The Dating Game on FN!

What was with the little out-of-the-kitchen testimonials highlighting how sweet and wonderful their spouse is, or how cooking techniques are like a marriage?

    Hey Gina, it’s BananaS Foster!

  22. Crystal says:

This is the most ignorant post I have ever read! What is up with you people…are you not ashamed?

  23. Rod Labbe says:

    She looks like Michelle Obama.

    • just cant take it anymore says:

Your Dumbass must be blind the two look nothing alike. You people just post shit to be posting nothing else to do with your time and life……..

  24. watt upp says:

yall racist bitches betta quit hattin on gina. i bet yall not sayin this bout any white person on food netowrk. dont hate cause u not in a good marraige/relationship like the neelys are.

    • Emily says:

yes we racist bitches only pick on the Neelys. If you will casually look to the right side of your screen (that’s this side—->) you will see a list of FN hosts that have their own threads and such. If you would be so kind as to read the comments on all the other hosts, you will notice that all the other hosts have scathing comments on their shows as well. Please learn how to spell.

    • Sadi says:

The race card has been played to shreds, honey. Do yourself a favor and go back to school. It is painfully obvious you weren’t paying attention.

  25. Alex says:

@watt up: Whoa there tiger. How dare you assume that everything white people do is based on race. Apparently your own blatant racism and disdain for Caucasians is blinding you of ANY objectivity. This is a humor blog. Period. If you can’t handle reading or seeing criticism of any kind, then I implore you to I G N O R E us, just as you suggest we stop “hattin.” People like you are the main reason why race relations in this country have not improved as quickly as they could. We are all equal. You are actually asking for superiority by saying that we should not satirize any black, or any non-white people for that matter. Guess what? NOT GONNA HAPPEN. As such, we, and I in particular will NOT justify why we satirize anyone that we do. Take your tired race argument and shove it.

    • aloo says:

Alex, you nailed it completely….well-articulated to say the least. Unfortunately, Watt Upp wasn’t able to figure out a word you said, so of course he labeled it “nerd talk”.
I’m obviously not the only one getting sick and tired of this “racist/hater” response being tossed out there at the slightest chance, for no reason at all. Don’t you people realize (who do that) it makes your stupid argument empty and meaningless? It’s overused, overplayed, and overdone to death. Most people just don’t care anymore when it’s thrown around so carelessly. It’s become a JOKE. So, yeah, Watt Upp, take your stupid race argument and shove it; you’ll NEVER know what’s actually up.

    • wow says:

i can totally see both sides of the arguement. i actually agree with you to a certain extent. but there are those that are racist out there. for you to imply that racism doesn’t exist is a foolish statement.. yes some people over abuse the race card, but that does not mean that racism does not exist. I can’t stand those that abuse the race card, just as much as i can’t stand those who turn a cold shoulder to it and act like it doesn’t exist—–like you….

yes, there are those that were just making comments for jokes, but there is one person whose comments are laced with racism–and that is Kyle. difference between making fun of someone and bringing hatred in a statement, like he did.

The first comment he made was questionable and could have been taken either way. but his second comment: “I wonder if any shootings took place after the party at the Neelys ? You can clean up to a certain extent, but you can’t change em.”– confirmed that he’s racist or at least has a negative perception of black people. come on now, it doesn’t take a genius to figure this out… u can’t change em? shootings? anyone who doesn’t see the obvious hatred he has for black people in this statement, is a damn fool.

  26. watt upp says:

“@ALEX”: whoa there tiger..lets not try using english..not nerd talk. i can say w.e. i wanna say on this website jus like u can..nd u really starting to make me mad cause you keep sayin ‘black’, but u use causcasian instead of white

    • J says:

You failed at the sarcasm attempt when you copied his whoa there tiger. Oh and you proved his point regarding your ignorance on so many levels.

  27. Erin says:

@KYLE: I actually fell off my chair laughing when I read your posts – they were so pathetic. It felt good to laugh, after all this is a humor blog. It constantly amazes me that idiot morons whose world views extend no further than their front (or back) yards exist. You are so right though. You can clean up (an idiot) to a certain extent, but you can’t change em. An idiot’s an idiot.

  28. Clare says:

It doesn’t matter whether the Neely’s are white or black. “Annoying” knows not race and this couple is as annoying as hell.

  29. Lynn says:

Pat and Gina need to cook in the kitchen and sex anywhere else out of our site. The show would be much better with Pat and his brothers.

  30. Boke1 says:

Gina is cringe-worthy. That voice! And the way she says “guh-REEEEEEEN beans.” Green is monosyllabic you perpetual purveyor of pig products. And the honey-baby talk-smooching exhanges are just a gross-out.

  31. Stephen says:

The fact of the matter, whether they were black, white, purple, pink or blue – they annoy the hell out of everyone. They have next to no kitchen skills – every time I seem them use a knife, I cringe; they burn, fry and bbq everything – hell they deep fried deviled eggs!!?! deviled eggs, I say!!! Lastly, I know they are married and I’m quite sure they love each other but watching them make sexual innuendos about everything from the pork they just shredded to the cucumber Gina is butchering, gets frankly annoying.

They disgust me, not because of race, because of their attitude, lack of skills and lovey dovey bs. I want to learn how to cook something, and not know where Pat wants to stick his zucchini during the commercial break.

    • Redsparkletea says:

don’t say that it doesn’t matter when other users were clearly using racist remarks to show their disgust with the neelys. I’m talking about the “big lipped” and shooting “jokes” in case you didn’t know.

Colorblindness is a load of crock that only further pushes marginalized people to the side, so the majority race can feel better about themselves.

  32. AbacoPeach says:

In the latter part of their 2008 season, it seemed they had toned down the “get a room” attitude and Gina’s loudness. When their new season kicked in, I thought, well they are back to their over-the-top, loud, silly, and sickening selves! Amazingly, I feel FN perpetuated this behavior because of complaints from the African-American viewers that they were a little too subdued.

I just recently watched an earlier episode and I told my husband (he despises them also!) that this is the way they should act on every show.

It is really a shame because aside from a few misses, they do cook some interesting food.

    • Bigsnood says:

Wow. Thought I was the only one who noticed that Gina is always yelling and he is always trying to muhdik during the filming.

  33. J says:

How many times can Gina Neely say, “KAY?!” in an episode? She says it after every step in the recipes she butchers.

  34. Yikes says:

Someone please tell Gina that Worcestershire sauce is not pronounced “wooshershire showze”

  35. Miss Gee says:

Sometime Gina Neeley is nerve racking but, so is Paula Dean.
I think alot of the post are from small minded bigots.
As long as their skin is pale their allright with you but as soon as somebody with that beautiful brown skin gets a show there you go with your bigotry.
I’m not saying all white folks are bigots just the ones that are obvious.

    • Judith says:

Read the posts under Paula Deen.

    • Sara says:

‘Beautiful brown skin’? I know I’m going to get called a bigot, but this just really niggles at me. Not all brown skin is automatically beautiful, just as all pale skin is not automatically beautiful. Some white skin is really unattractive, too pale or blotchy, and some brown skin is also unattractive, pitted or uneven. That said, some of both colors IS absolutely gorgeous. Some brown skin is so beautiful it makes you weep, and some white skin is enchanting. Like all characteristics, this one needs to be addressed on a case-by-case basis.

  36. Lynn says:

Gina needs to go away for good. Let Pat cook with his brothers at least they’re nice looking. I have found her to be phony, insulting and disrespectful to her in-laws.Gina needs to understand that she is not the only woman with a sexy wonderful husband that treats her like a queen. My husband is all of that and then some.I read somewhere that the couple was seen in a Gay club in Memphis.Maybe all of the sexual undertones are to cover up something else.

  37. aloo says:

They were kind of cute at first, but after a while became quite grating. Pat acts as if he is eternally attempting to get into his wife’s good graces and affections, and Gina acts as if she enjoys withholding that from him and thus enjoys her “power” over him in that regard. I feel sorry for him, seems like a very nice guy. He could have done better. As far as the food? Quite a bit of it is very appealing….not all, but a lot of it.

  38. Will Keller says:

I have just one comment about Pat, can any man be that whipped? Come on…grow a set!

  39. Eddie says:

I hate the Neely’s…annoying…but I watched the other day cause I was bored and sick…and I wanted to count how many times Pat said Y’all….I lost count at 35..come on..say something else!!! Her voice is grating!!! Their food looks icky!!! Oh ya and his laugh sounds really creepy..heh,heh, heh…ewwwwwww!! They make me want to throw up in my mouth!!

  40. Stargirl says:

Yall need to stop hatin ya just jeoulous(im 13 and i luv the neelys and yall just jeoulous cuz dey got they life togetha and i noticed most of the comments were about gina so yall needs to fallback eat dust and kick rocks

  41. Stargirl says:

Oh yea how yall gonna get mad cuz pat respects his wifey and yallll just mad cuz everybody in the world so shut up yall ugly hatez ugly is my fav word

  42. Pj gurl says:

I think down home with the neelys is a fun and loving famile they still have that spark there show is great and they is like a dream cuple and i bet everybody want to have there kind of relation ship for all you people that trying to talk about the nealys you could just turn there shows

  43. Jackie Murray says:

I would like to know how this woman ever got this man? Her highly inflated opinion of herself makes me wonder. All of the whooping and hollering and dancing around like an animal??

  44. Stacey says:

i love the neely’s this a great show america is not use to such a power black couple so they be nervous when they so this america is so use to black couples not being shown in a great way this make them hate a little. get over it go neelys we love you

    • Ferd Berfle says:

We just can’t get over the incoherence of your post and the complete lack of proper punctuation or capitalization.

    • Ina Garten DaVida says:

NO one cares that they’re black. As others point out, all the FN hosts/”characters” (Love that word) get a dose of it on this site. Compared to Sandra Lee, the Neelys get off VERY easy.

I hate the constant Y’ALLS from the Neelys and Pauler Deen as well. Gets on my last nerve.

I hate the “sugar” crap from the Neelys. Urk

And for God’s sake, if I were black I would object strenuously to these two on the grounds that they completely embody the stereotype of what black people eat. Fried chicken y’all? How bout some KoolAid, sugar?

“They be nervous”? Really?? Could you BE more stereotypically incapable of using good grammar?

      • wow says:

um there is nothing wrong with having a country accent, nor is eating fried chicken.. what are black people not suppose to touch watermelon, fried chicken, or even koolaid for fear that they might just embody a stereotype? There is nothing wrong with eating these things, its the negative connotation that is attached to it that makes it offensive.. the negative connotation being a direct hit at black people in general. Last thing i knew, watermelon and fired chicken is a popular dish to alot of people… not just black culture……..

What if a white person or any other race besides black were to fry chicken, would you still say the same thing? its food for godsake, and food doesn’t make up what type of person you are. that a ridiculous thing to say.

      • Redsparkletea says:

Did you happen to miss the big lips and black gangsters shooting at their parties jokes? you just try to deny what was said here to make yourself feel better. just like every other “colorblindness” toting racism apologist.

    • LMAO says:

“they be nervous”….could you be any blacker? BAHAHAHAHAHHA! TNB!

  45. Lawanda says:

I can’t believe what I am hearing! You guys really need to get a life. This woman has done absolutely nothing to deserve this negative talk from the likes of all of you, with the exception of Stacey. Lovers recognize Haters and that’s all I see on this page. At the end of the day, she’s still successful and you all are poor bloggers…GET A LIFE HATERS!

  46. wow says:

this post is directed at alex’s. i also quoted him, but that comment might be overlooked, because i don’t think its the latest comment to post. here it is again:

i can totally see both sides of the arguement. i actually agree with you to a certain extent. but there are those that are racist out there. for you to imply that racism doesn’t exist is a foolish statement.. yes some people over abuse the race card, but that does not mean that racism does not exist. 47. wow says:

and for those who disagree, please try to explain kyle’s reason for saying what he says. id love to hear this one. im just sick and tired of people making excuses for obvious racism.. try to imagine of that comment was directed at someone of your race, maybe ud understand it more….. *rolls eyes*

    • Redsparkletea says:

Me too. I fucking hate the neely’s but there is no excuse for that. And that color blindness thing is a joke. It’s always:
1.Someone says something racist, whether it be obvious or something that requires education or experience to see and understand for what it is.
      2. they get called out.
      3. racist/unintentionally racist/straight up ignorant person refuses to look at what they did or said or even attempt to understand why some have taken offense to it.
      4. they get defensive and A: start whining about the race card or B: talk until they’re blue in the face, about how it doesn’t matter to them if a person is “white, black, purple” or any other absurd color to prove how rainbow friendly they are, while not realizing how hollow, cut and paste, and unconvincing they actually are to those less privileged in the race department(there are all types of privilege, race is just one of them, and it’s not assigning fault to those who have it).

  48. LoveToCook says:

I LOOOOOVE the Neely’s! Gina and Pat seem like great people, I like they way they talk about their close-knit family ties. As a former-twirler, also, like the lovely Miss Gina, I have to say that their recipes are some of our favorites. We’re not meat eaters, but their side dishes are good. We entertain a lot so we love do a Neely barbeque recipe, or at least get ideas from one.

  49. chaka says:

Gina is the Food Network’s answer to I Love New York!

  50. Coast0385 says:

No she is saying “SHIIIIT!” lol. And judging by that little bar collection behind her she is a party girl often.

  51. both so annoying says:

Dunno if they can cook or not bec. the lovey dovey smoochy stuff is so sickening, I can’t watch long enough to see they’re cooking skills (or lack thereof). I also wonder why Pat seems to do mostly drudge work- chopping, passing stuff, etc. and Geena does more real cooking. He def. needs to ‘man up’ a bit!

  52. Michael says:

The show should be called “Go Down with the Neelys” they’re disgusting. Somebody please smack the sprinkle fairy in the mouth and tell the husband to buy a new can of paint for his hair.
