Check out Jeffrey Adam “Duff” Goldman at age 18! I believe this was his ID card at the University Of Baltimore Maryland County, where he graduated with a degree in… (stifling laughter)… East Asian History and a minor in ethics.
I actually think he was kind of cute, in a clueless “look how many beer cans I can crush on my head” sort of way. I hesitate to use the word “meathead”, but from the sheer girth of his neck alone, it seems he could have had a fairly lucrative career as a defensive tackle in the NFL if his culinary career never took off!

I just think it is hilarious that you lump him together in a category with Mary Alice. Like neither one of them are worthy of their own category
Total meathead. But he looks better than he does now. He should lose the chin pubes IMHO.
Is that hair I spy on his head or some unfortunate little animal?
It’s University of Maryland Baltimore County, UMBC, “U Made a Bad Choice,” kind of a blah school or “U Must B Chinese.” (Good Engineering program.)
UMBC is an awesome school
He looks like this guy I almost dated my freshman year of college! (Long story, don’t ask.)
So that’s where Mary Alice gets her hairstyles from!
No way Goldman could play any pro sport , let alone football.
Way too much of a pussy. If anything , maybe girls hockey and I think most competitive girls hockey teams could skate rings around this doofus.
btw,
is that a hat he is wearing or has his hair formed a solid piece of cloth ?
You are so quick. I saw that last night and thought how great of a still photo that would be…login here later and there it is!
What a great blog.
What a bunch of clearly jealous petty comments about a very talented and funny guy who’s living a pretty amazing life sharing his gift with so many.
Duff’s fukkin’ brilliant and you’d be so lucky to even meet him, let along work with him.
Blow me with your stupid unoriginal jealous comment, Yakity Yak. No one here is jealous of this putz. I wouldnt feel lucky to meet him. I’d walk past him on the street without a second glance. He’s a 2nd rate cake business owner who got lucky.
I don’t think anyone is jealous of Goldman in anyway, except maybe if you’re in Love with Mary Alice and he gets to see her everyday.Hey maybe he is dinking her on the side.
I think most commenters wonder WTF this guy is doing on TV period.
I’m with Yak on this one guys & gals. I saw him live at a Q&A a few months ago and he’s hysterical. There’s way more to him than TV shows that’s for sure.
Yak and New Bee, you’re aware moderators can see your IP addresses, correct? You two have the same IP address. How curious.
Gee. Are Yak and New Bee sharing the same IP as, oh, I don’t know….Duff?? Goobers….
It’s all good. I met Duff too, and found him friendly, easy-going and downright charming. Like him or not, ya gotta admit he’s a funny-lookin’ dude! Cute pic from the way-back machine, Jillian. Nice find.
lol
All I’m seeing is Fat Vanilla Ice.
Guess I got my uppance, thanks guys. But seriously if you really can’t stand the guy, why watch him?
You know, aside from the loss of hair, he really doesn’t look that different. I catch his show from time to time, and it’s all right. My kids like it, but the downside is now every time I bake a cake my kids want to decorate it.

and by the way get it right. there WASN’T a official major called “East Asian History” OR an official minor of “ethics”. He majored in history with an East Asian concentration and minored in philosophy.
