Last week, I put Tyler Florence on blast for confusing the words PATIENCE and PATIENTS. I’m proud to announce that since then, Tyler has learned how to distinguish between the two words, and how to properly thank people for their PATIENCE:

Way to be able to laugh at yourself, T-Flo! Two thumbs way up for having a sense of humor about it!

THIS WEEK: Ina Garten's "beginner" recipes, new Food Network shows starting in September, thumbing through an issue of Semi-Homemade magazine, Rachael Ray's daytime talk show, Aarti's "accountability group", Claire Robinson on Big Daddy's House, another sensual reading of Alex Guarnaschelli's tweets, sink or swim voicemail, and much more.

“The recipes and step by step photos are on BY blog…”??
Keep working on that, Tyler. (And I would call that a typo)
lol. That’s cool.
Not a big fan of his…but I like him a little bit more already…good on ya’ T-Flo!
Maybe there’s hope for him yet! Good job, TF!!
God to see some one at FN not take themselves to seriously.
I love when people can laugh at themselves for messing up.
I am not sure Florence finished high school, instead opting to pursue his culinary career so making spelling mistakes is no big whoop.
Now if he was bordering on McCargo type illiteracy, then he has a problem.
While I’ve never liked his shows and show appearances much, I’ve always kind of liked him.
Always good to see someone like that not get huffy when someone is joking around at their expense.
He’s still a big douche.
He’s still a big douche, whether he can spell or not.
Kudos for taking the joke and running with it.
Most wouldn’t…….
LOL! way to go T. Flo!
adorable.
The ability to laugh at one’s own mistake is very endearing.
Yup, I’ve always liked Ty too. Not saying EVERY recipe is ULTIMATE, but some of ‘em have been pretty damn good.
Spelling or no, at least the man can develop tasty dishes. Glad to see he’s got some humility too.
Good for him – nice to see him react like that rather than filing suit. lol
Tyler Florence reads FNH. You know all the hosts must.
By blog, Tyler?! Keep working on your grammar.
Jillian you rock!!!! On your Home Page Metro Kitchen had an ad , complete with picture, for Tyler Florence Cookware. How weird is that?
As another person with ADHD, I say we give Tyler a break on the spelling! Attention to detail isn’t exactly one of the most prevalent character traits in Adult-ADDers (speaking from my personal experience).
Devika, where did you get the information that he has ADHD?
