I doubt her show will be watched you have to have a very strong and unique personality to last on that channel, she does not qualify. very few of the past winners became household names .

Oh My God, I can not believe it, they really got it wrong, I will not be interested in a show with Melissa. Apparently Suzy and Bob think that the viewers of the food network are all stupid bad cooks that want little un-interesting, un-inlightning comments to put a meal together. The opposite of this would be more true. Most viewers are people very interested in cooking, and very passionate about it. People I know that watch the food network, love to cook! People that don’t cook and do not know how to cook, or do not like to cook do not watch!!!!!! Cooks are your audience!!! We are entertained by watching food be prepared and enjoy new ideas and different takes on things. We enjoy being entertained by someone with a different perspective, that is interesting, enlightning, funny, and knowlegable. Like Paula Dean!! Melissa brings nothing new to the table. Jeffrey had much more to offer. The consept was even great, new spices, and ingredients from far off places..bringing them back and showing us what to do with them, we could have even traveled with him..shopped with him!!!! I feel cheated! I cook for a living, I do not want or need little tips, I have been down that road many times before, done this, did that, nothing interesting or new in what she says. Sorry Melissa, I will not be watching your show. Maybe you should let the people pick the winner, like American Idol.

I am completely angered by the decision to let milisa through to win the show. This was a very bad move by FN. They neede a new fresh idea not one that has been used over and over again.!!!!!!
