He has inspired me to work harder towards my own weight loss goals. I am going to start eating the way he described on "Live and Let Die". Alton is my absolute favorite person on the Food Network, he is very smart and witty. Even my husband (who is not a foodie at all) and my children enjoy watching his show. The first moment I layed eyes on him that's exactly what I thought! I said to my husband, "Oh my God....I wonder if he's sick!" It's not people bashing him, but merely being concerned for him.
