When Melissa first appeared on FN, her shows were being shot from the old stage where Amy Finley filmed her 6 shows. Her new stage is absolutely gorgeous. I guess FN figures if you can save money on your food bill, ANYONE can have a MEGA kitchen to cook a 10.00 meal.

I agree with this article. Her show is bad but apparently a lot of people like it. I think she has a cult following with people that go bowling or something because that’s what her food reminds me of; something that is cooked at a bowling alley.

Melissa needs to GO! I can’t look at her without wanting to punch her in the face…

The Food Network needs to get rid of her…she doesn’t know shit about food…she has an annoying personality and just plain sucks. She clearly won Next FN Star by default because they ALL sucked that season!

Your critic (and I say that literally) is just plain mean and a bully, making comments about people’s teeth etc. I bet she was one of the mean girls in school. I enjoy Melissa’s show, I enjoy her banter and just about everything she does. (I also like Guy Fieri, so back off Jillian). I think maybe the person who needs to be replaced is JILLIAN.

Found out that on this year’s Next FN Star, Everyday Tramp will be “featured”. WHY??? I’ll boycott the program – I’ve had enough of this pig. She’s no cook, and no chef either. I have better things to do and watch this summer. This past weekend, $40 Dinners for 4 (Melissa) was pre-empted with an Ina Garten marathon – thank GOD for small favors!!!

Thought I would toss my cookies when FN presented Melissa as one of the judges for TNFNS. She is a horror and is going to “judge” others on their talent? FN has absolutely lost their minds on this woman!

There is no flippin way that Chicken Marengo and salad cost ten dollars. NO WAY.
Maybe if you count yellow bell peppers, pecans, onions, wine, broth, and butter as kitchen staples. Otherwise, no way.

10 dollar dinners is obviously geared toward people on a budget. Well guess what. Buying a ten to fifteen dollar bottle of wine to use a half cup in a recipe is not in my budget.

Even if you break it down to just what you use, it’s not 10 dollars. Won’t be watching this again.
