"Most of her gay guy friends look like they could use a good meal. There’s one in particular (he lives in the museaum/funeral parlor house) who appears, for all intents and purposes, embalmed."

LMAO!! Must be the "good" Chardonnay, or I am beyond tired. Sleep well...

First of all, she needs a complete makeover...the manly shirts and the "i don't need a man" haircut has GOT to go!
Second, please, Ina, stop telling me to use "good" vanilla or "good" butter.. because I'd clearly use bad ingredients if I didn't have you telling me to use "good" ones.
Third, drop the fag-hag routine..just because Jeffrey's never around to service you, doesn't mean you can make up for it by a pretense of how hip you are based on the number of gay male friends you have..what, the lesbians too close to home for you?

It's really too bad that Ina let herself get so heavy because she was quite attractive and svelte in her younger days. Not to mention the fact that all the butter, cheese, and cream she uses is likely taking a toll on her overall health and well-being. Not good for Jeffrey, either.

Rod, it's because she pulls out a electric appliance instead of getting just a tad of exercise by, oh, and this is such a difficult task...grating cheese by hand. Oh, the humanity.

The treadmill episode was designed to be a part of her regular show...until she had chest pains and was rushed to the ER. End of treadmill.

Right CherryRose...and PBS has a top-notch line up with no BS Shlockmeisters! Still FN gives us such a treasure-trove of material so we can have our fun ;-)

"...she’s one of the very very few FNTV hosts that I still enjoy. She’s maintained her integrity..."

Agree on both points. I also hope that if FN pushes Ina too far, she'll tell them to FOAD, and she'll head to PBS.

I'm a fan of Ina's but i have to agree that her recipes are getting a bit redundant. Everything that was Italian is now....Greek! Seafood classics have morphed into fowl, Pot pies have everyday, average person's 1 1/2lbs of Lobster now.

Formerly Italian and now Greek panzanella salad has kalamata olives & Feta cheese, Chicken pot pie is Lobster pot pie, Boullabaise is now Chicken Boullabaise. While I appreciate the "twist" on old favorites, it's getting a little tired.

Still, she's one of the very very few FNTV hosts that I still enjoy. She's maintained her integrity and although she's rich, she's not dipping her dripping with diamonds rings and bracelets into batter like Ol Paula does. Or topping a fat laden mac & cheese with potato chips like that Screechin' Gina fingernails on the chalkboard Neely.

So turn up the volume but do it with a twist!
