I don’t understand the snarkiness on this thread. I enjoy Aida’s shows because I enjoy cooking and watching lovely women do it. As a 62 year-old grandpa, I appreciate both Aida’s culinary skills and her looks. She isn’t in the same class as my wife of 43 years, but that’s OK as no is.

I can’t believe the petty comments on this blog. I watch for the cooking and recipes and yes, chefs can have annoying habits but then, DON’T WATCH THEM. I’m sure all of us have faults and aspects of our looks that aren’t perfect. Having said that, though, I don’t like the new way of filming Ask Aida. I came here just because the looking away from the camera was bothering me – but I’ll just stop watching if it doesn’t correct itself.

Great question. I’m watching an episode now, and I’m surprised she’s still on the air. She is not entertaining and adds no information that is valuable unless you are extremely new to cooking.

I have to say, Aida was hard to watch WITH Noah, and by the time I was able to watch the two of them, he’s gone. Now, I can’t watch her at all. You know, I wish FN would consider just getting some good cooks without the over the top personalities. I watch because I want recipes, and not these over-worked personalities. It’s like they become characatures of themselves. I see what they are cooking, then go to the website if I want the recipe and they annoy me. But hey, has anybody caught Everyday Food on PBS? Five cooks and five recipes in 25 minutes? I love it! They are pleasant, consise, not over-smiling, and no dab blame family members! The only criticism I have is that it doesn’t last long enough. If it did, I wouldn’t even watch FN anymore.
