  1. holy crap those look horrible.
I couldn’t eat thatand I love meatloaf (well perhaps they don’t taste as bad as they look).

  2. jtravis says:

I’m surprised Sandra Lee didn’t come up with any of these. She’s so thoughtful and crafty.

  3. oh_come_on says:

Looks like a Pillsbury contest. Revolting, especially the head one. The worms….ugh!

Completely off subject, would someone please save me from Giada? She’s making single servings of ‘adorable’ ‘little’ food, so what, all her friends can come eat inside her darling little adorable dollhouse? I can’t take her anymore!

  4. Squarebob Spongepants says:

Just when I thought meatloaf couldn’t get any more disgusting…

  5. Trini says:

“I’m surprised Sandra Lee didn’t come up with any of these.”

@JTRAIS: I’m willing to bet$10.00 Aunt Sandy is soon going to bake a semi-homemade grossout meatloaf pretendng it’s her original idea (now that she’s read this post, I mean.)

  6. byrdie says:

Squarebob, I couldn’t agree more. Just hearing the word ‘meatloaf’ sends shivers down my spine. So adding blood, worms, eyeballs and toe/fingernails ain’t sweetening the chance of me eating any. bruuauauaauuauaa

  7. pwkwsfi says:

I must try to make one of these for my office potluck

  8. Jamie says:

As horrific as these are, I have to admit that between the Ina post and this, they’ve cheered me up. I’m housebound and I can’t go out anywhere including a Halloween party I was invited too. Freakin hives everywhere.

  9. Heather says:

Jamie, I am so sorry! Hope you are out and about again soon!

And I just have no words for those pictures. I hate meatloaf so this is not helping me try and overcome the hate. Eww, eww, eww!

  10. Jamie says:

Thanks Heather, I appreciate it. Your right about that meatloaf, great scary halloween fun, until you remember someone made that for folks to eat. *gack* :)

  11. *Di* says:

    @JTRAVIS
” I’m surprised Sandra Lee didn’t come up with any of these. She’s so thoughtful and crafty. ”

But she has – ALL her creations year-round are “suitable for Halloween only” ;)

  12. Buy Soma says:

    Best meatloaves ever!

  13. Alex says:

Umm, Aunt Sandy DID create a horrible meatloaf: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RQKu3PcgYrU

  14. Mystie says:

Mmmm, I love meatloaf! These are awesome! Love the corpse head.

  15. Di says:

    Sandy’s personal motto is:
    “Don’t let your meat loaf!”
    ;)

I am also a meatloaf freak. But I like it best afterward in sandwich on [good]rye bread with a little butter and a little mustard.
    Heaven!

  16. suebee says:

    “Like a bat outta helllllllll!”

    Oh, sorry! Wrong Meatloaf….

  17. Trini says:

@ Alex: you’re so right! That was more disgusting than any of the pics above!

  18. I cannot believe all the meatloaf haters around here. apparently you’ve never had or are incapable of preparing it properly.

  19. froglegs says:

I loooooovvvvve meatloaf! These are awesome!!!!

  20. Jennie says:

I love meatloaf, well, MY meatloaf. Growing up my mom’s meatloaf was always so dry and gross.

Now, I am also artistic, and appreciate the creativity of these and think they are pretty interesting, but not only is smell and taste a huge determining factor of what I eat, but also what it looks like.

I don’t care if these were the most delicious meatloafs ever created, I think I wouldn’t be able to hold my lunch down to even attempt to try them.

  21. The Deaner says:

I’m ashamed to admit it but…I would totally eat meatloaf #6…simply because it’s wrapped entirely in bacon.

Bacon = candy of the meat world.

  22. flash speicher says:

Very impressive work of meatloaf for the Halloween.

  23. Motzi Greps says:

Meatloaf lovers unite! I too love “my” meatloaf as I make one that has wonderful ingredients and is cooked properly providing beautiful flavor…

These pics made me want to VOM though, LOL…..

  24. Adamski82 says:

    This is a scarier meatloaf… http://tiny.cc/O2VQZ

  25. houstonray says:

I guess I’ll have to be in the minority, I think these are awesomely creative. Love a good meatloaf and these would be so much fun at “next” year’s Halloween bash. The two most creative are the hand in the mashed potatoes (you must go to her site and see how she did it, very cool) and the head.

Contrary to others, this makes me want some good old fashioned meatloaf! :-)

  26. christellar says:

    These are good.
Is that GEICO banner at the side for real????

    LOL

“So easy; Guy Fieri can do it”

    ???
    wicked awesome

  27. Byrdie says:

@Adamsk182 – You ain’t kidding! That is a scarier meatloaf! Scariest I’ve ever seen (or heard)…Yamma-hamma

  28. Jeff Houck says:

Actually, the Dead Man’s Foot is wonderfully tasty.

    You know, for a foot.

  29. CherryRose says:

I was tempted to order the meatloaf on a cruise one night because many passengers commented on how good and homey it was served with mashed potatoes and gravy (probably absorbed a lot of booze, too). I chose something else that night but saw the meatloaf being carved/served at the buffet. Sure glad that I didn’t order it after seeing that the whole meatloaf looked like a giant “log” – and I’m not talking about something that you’d put in your fireplace ;)

  30. kris says:

oh that’s so awesome!!!! totally making the meatloaf!
