Love love love Law & Order BLT! How did you manage to find a picture of Pauler without those chicklet teeth showing?

@ Sandra…maybe it’s because Pauler is honing her inner Liza Minelli…*shudders*

These are great Jill :) And besides, Ina can add NPH to her posse if that show existed :)

The Guy Ferry one is so “money” because if it showed up in TV Guide tomorrow, most of us would say, yah, of course…

I just thought of one more to add if someone can put the pic up. “Gossip Grill” with Bobby Flay.

The photo of Pauler Poopy reminds me of what her expression would be if she heard “Sorry, Paula, but all your shows have been cancelled, Walmart dropped your products and the doublewide’s been repoe’d.”

  6. October 5th, 2009

    damn straight america’s got tacos!

  7. October 5th, 2009

Thanks for the laugh, Jillian. I needed it today. I’m a Law & Order freak – tuned in the USA CI marathon as I type – so the BLT was especially funny.

OT: I’ve had some type of bug since early Saturday. I don’t know if it’s the “pig” variety, but whatever it is, it’s nasty. Stay well, good peeps!

  8. October 5th, 2009

If “Queer Eye” returned, Ina could co-host it with Carson Cressley.

Can a book deal be far behind for you guys? Seriously funny shit.

GIAPRODY. Alex Trebeck & Giada can spend 30 minutes over enunciating Italian words.

    @ CherryRose:
there’s a CI marathon today? What am I doing at work?? Are you loving Goren-Eames or Wheeler-Nichols?

    Loved the comments about Ina.

A few others that just didn’t quite make the cut:

Ace of Cakes: Chop, Cut, Rebuild.(Speed)
    Paula Deens Staff: Dirty Jobs.(Discovery)
Bobby Deen: Queer Eye for the Straight Cook.(Bravo)
    Rick Bayless: Border Patrol.(PBS)
    The Frugal Gourmet: Thriller.(PBS)
    Fliping out with Bobby Deen.(Bravo)
The Real Houswives of Stepford, starring Sandra Lee. (Bravo)

TV Land could show reruns of “Leave it to Cleavage” starring Giada!

I like crossing over the Speed series to “Chop Cut Reheat”.

I have never ever seen a picture of Paula Deen not smiling. Maybe because she looks CREEPY. ^ Thanks, FNH.

  16. October 5th, 2009

Yeah, Paula looks like she’s a’plottin’ a murder, y’all, in that photo with Meloni and Hargitay (and she’s probably grabbing Meloni’s rear end while she’s at it).

  17. October 5th, 2009

What really frightens me is that Aunt Sandy looks considerably bangable in that pic.

i just had to comment on how that guy Tyler’s show, Ultimate or whatever, makes my head cramp up. Because the beginning of the show where he’s talking about what he’s going to make, the camera is purposely shaking and is trying to subtly zoom in a tiny bit every 5 seconds. really throws me off, i can’t watch the show.

I would totally watch that taco show, if Guy is not on it.

“..there’s a CI marathon today? What am I doing at work?? Are you loving Goren-Eames or Wheeler-Nichols?”

USA shows 8 hours of CI (9-5) on Mondays, SVU on Tuesdays. Yesterday I hung out with Goren/Eames, today it’s Stabler/Benson. Reruns, yes, but better than the carp served up on FN ;)

Since Special Victim’s Unit deals with sexually-based offenses, the a$$-grabbing seems appropriate! :))

I seriously need to consider taking Mondays off. I’m a Goren/Eames fan myself. :-)

although a marathon of Barefoot Contessa wouldn’t be bad either!

‘Barefood Contessa’ is basically a marathon all the time. In less than five days, they ran the same episode THREE TIMES. If that isn’t a marathon, I don’t know what is…

“‘Barefood Contessa’ is basically a marathon all the time. In less than five days, they ran the same episode THREE TIMES. If that isn’t a marathon, I don’t know what is…”

LMAO! Wasn’t yesterday’s show the “Welcome Home” dinner for “the boys” who had been in London? I’ve seen that several times and say, “Enough, already!”

If I’d just been on a 7-hour flight across the pond, the last thing I’d want to do is turn on the oven to heat up Truffled Mac & Cheese, or indulge in Lemon Souffle appropriately garnished with whipped cream and lemon slices. More importantly, I’d want to know who the f*ck thought it was alright to come into my house, put (uncovered) frickin’ foods in my frickin’ fridge and presume that I would want to eat it immediately upon my return, frickin’ fiddle with my fireplace, and leave me frickin’ fresh fruit?

FNH actually did a write-up of that ridiculous London episode! http://foodnetworkhumor.com/2009/04/ina-garten-loves-her-gay-men/

  28. byrdie
    October 6th, 2009

I thought that was one of the stupidest episodes (and that’s the one that was one three times in four days). I always wondered a couple of other things besides ‘who the f*ck thought it was alright to come into my house’, but who leaves on vacation and COMPLETELY empties their frigde? Not a jar a mayo or mustard or pickles. Nothing! What? Where they gone for a freakin year?? And that was one of the episodes where continuity was waaaayyy of kilter. For instance, when Ina whips up the ‘how easy can that be’ honey butter, she puts the butter in a little glass bowl with a spatula, and it’s all around the edges of the bowl. BUT when she puts in the into the fridge, it’s completely wiped clean around the edges, and of course, in Ina style, not covered with so much as a paper napkin. (I’ve seen the commercial size box of plastic wrap she has, so is she just that lazy?) Anyway, when Michael is building the fire, the way he lays the tinder on the logs in the firebox ain’t the way they show the fire when one of the ‘boys’ lights said fire. See, I told you this show has been on more times than I can count. And just as a side note, I didn’t count, but she must have used the word ‘fantastic’ 50 times in that show for some reason. ugh.

@DameJudi: Thanks for the link. I hadn’t seen that blog entry as it was before I discovered FNH. I continue to wend my way through the gems here!
