I like the fact that she is okay with being parodied, and made fun of, if you can’t laugh at yourself, who can you laugh at?

  2. tegan says:

Not surprised to hear they are all reading it. Of course they are. It is hilarious! Way to take a joke, Aida. Nice.

  3. Gayle King says:

Agreed – this has quickly become my favorite, must check website. A guaranteed laugh a day! The large majority of things posted on this site are not mean spirited, and it’s always nice to see celebrities who can poke a little bit of fun at themselves . Aida scored a point or two in my book.

  4. Deen says:

Glad to see Aida is a FNH reader….now will she PLEASE stop staring at the wrong camera while talking? Not that I intend to watch her show or anything if she does…

  5. DesignerJeans says:

They love you Jillian, they really, really love you.

(Ok. maybe not susie and tushman but what are you going to do?)

    @deen

Her avatar is even looking away from the camera! Ha!

  6. Jillian, You should order Tshirts inscribed with: ‘Aida Mollenkamp loves my website.’
    Or something…..
That could be the next “inside joke”, like “Vote for Pedro.”

  7. Martin says:

I disagree with Aida. The SNL shit proves that the world feels that Guy Fieri is an out of control, jerk, fat slob. She needs to face reality.

  8. Martin says:

oops.. Freudian slip… I mean “skit”

  9. Daria says:

we all know what thanks followed by an exclamation mark really means… :)

  10. Russian Blockhead says:

    @Martin
“oops.. Freudian slip… I mean ‘skit’”

No, Martin, I think you mean “shit.” I started watching in 1977, and that’s what SNL has become, IMHO.

  11. Russian Blockhead says:

and by IMHO, I mean “in my humble opinion” not “I AM HO..” well, you know what I mean.

  12. Silvio says:

Hey Martin , you really a doctor ? Of what ? You another Doogie Howser ? Or are you playing with us ?

I wonder if she was instrumental in getting that little turd Noah Starr booted off her show. Man was that guy ever useless. WOS man.
Funny but when that little peckerhead was on , I only watched to see what dopey question he would ask next . Or watch at his fond gazes, wondering how he could get into her pants. Now he’s gone, I hone in on her and I realize she too is pretty useless and boring in the kitchen.

Just another FN filler show by a FN contract player. Pass.

  13. Lana says:

@Daria Like ending an email with ‘Thanks!’ o_O

For sure, many of the Food Network folks read this site. Maybe not all the host / chefs, but without a doubt, the p.r. people, associates and more have an RSS feed. Jillian, pegged their ip’s yet? hmmm?

And if they don’t read it, they’ve heard of it. Poor Susie groaned and about erp’d in her mouth when I mentioned FNH. I tried to get her to see that playing along is ever so much better than fighting. But I’m sure I didn’t get thru. *big sigh*

Glad to hear Aida gets it.

  14. DesignerJeans says:

That’s comedy because I groan and erp when I see Susie in US of A Bicentenial Blouse!

Tuschman just gives me indigestion though…no matter what he wears.

  15. CherryRose says:

“and by IMHO, I mean “in my humble opinion” not “I AM HO..” well, you know what I mean.”

Very funny, RB! BTW, you probably missed “all rape, all day” on the 9-to-5 SVU marathon on USA today. Mostly reruns for me but nice background sound ;)

  16. Squarebob Spongepants says:

I think the SNL writers must be a reader of this site. The material is too uncanny. :)

  17. Syd says:

Ooooh, you’re in their heads. hehe

    Good for Aida, nice response.

  18. Stranger says:

I can tell you for a fact that most of the Food Net people read this blog. And most of them love it but could never admit it. :)
    -A secret food fan

  19. Ok, I’m just going to come out and say it: I wouldn’t be against Aida changing her name to “John Cougar.” No points for originality, but the nostalgia angle is worth it.

Wouldn’t mind a Food Network special with her and Giada at Hedonism II…

  20. I am shameless in my full-on geek love for aida…

  21. Jennie says:

Good to know the food network ‘chefs’ are in constant fear of what you will post next lol.

As for SNL, I am a youngin’ of only 26 and started watching in 1994, but I think I had to give it up about 3 or 4 years ago. I cannot see myself spending an hour and a half in front of the television only to laugh once or twice. It makes me sad to see how much it has gone downhill. I even liked MadTV more than SNL there for a while :/

  22. Trini says:

“I am shameless in my full-on geek love for aida…”

@ Mikeytwoshoes: Noah, is that you?

  23. Joe Blow says:

Aida’s happy anyone knows who she is..

  24. Motzi Greps says:

    ‘Zactly.

  25. Gayle King says:

I think a lot more people are reading this site than anyone could imagine (I just saw your Alexa rankings, oh my! You’re almost in the top 50k!) Everyone loves it, except the 12 people you’re making fun of. And some of them don’t even seem to mind.

Speaking of Aida, I can just see a Jay Leno Jaywalking skit now, with him going around asking people who Aida Mollenkamp is. You’d hear more “WHO’S” than on an owl farm.

  26. Princess Crazypants says:

Honestly I don’t watch all the FN shows so I don’t think I knew who Aida was apart from this site. So FNH is actually helping their “fame.”

heh heh “Tushie.” Love that nickname.
