Paula Deen should sue wal-mart. They have almost ruined her good name when it comes to pies [ especially apple ] My wife bought one last week. Worst pie I ever didn’t eat. Crust was not done, apples was not done. they had a bad flavor and mouth feel.[ maybe they were great, great great granny smiths ]. In my opinion ” Paula Deen ” stands for quality products. Too bad she tied in with wal-mart

Maybe after they introduced Paula’s pies they figured out the salmonella, E. coli, etc. bought by the $7.50 said pie would bring them customers for caskets… teehee

we bought this apple pie, thinking it was good, Wrong, BAD and i mean bad. The pie had no taste, the dough was soft, apples hard, worst apple pie i have ever eaten, bad girl Paula, need to take your name OFF this product, i am reluctent to buy another Paula Deen product again.

I just purchased on of her Apple crunchy pies. egads.I was so excitd til I bit into it. I should have known it was raw, the crust was not even brown let alone crunchy.. in the center the cruse was liquid white.. the apples slices, Ihave gotten softer off the tree.. what a disappointment Pat Hodge Watertown Ny

I bought this apple pie and found it to be doughy, then I noticed on the BOTTOM of the pan that it was supposed to be WARMED or cooked further!

I am a big apple pie fan and am not too discriminating if you know what i mean. I bought one of Paula’s apple pies at Walmart a few weeks ago and it was incredibly bad. I tossed the whole pie after a few bites. This is unheard of for me as I will eat just about anything as long as it doesn’t taste like this. The apples actually didn’t taste like apples. There was some tang to them giving them almost a citrus flavor. Then there was this layer of mush. Not sure what it was. The crust was alright. And for all you nits who think all pies stink at Walmart, you are mistaken. The mini pies are quite good and I have purchased cakes there as well which I found to be excellent.

I DO THINK THIS PIE IS PRETTY GOOD, AT LEAST THE ONE WE GOT THE CRUST WAS FLAKY, THE FILLING WAS TASTY ,THE APPLES NICE AND BIG,THE AFTER TASTE SOME ONE MENTION IN ONE OF THE COMMENTS IS THE SPICES (YOU DORK).MAY BE YOU PEOPLE LIKE “THE APPLE PIE FROM MCDONALDS BETTER, MAY BE BECAUSE THE PRICE 2 FOR $1.00 IS MORE AFFORDABLE FOR YOU!!!!!

All I can say is WOW. My wife and I also bought this nasty pie mainly because of the name on it and it was the most disgusting thing I ever tasted. For some reason it had NO and I do mean NO flavor it was like they forgot to add the sugar.

I just had one of these pies, thinking that, hey, I like Paula Deen. There is OBVIOUSLY something wrong with the instructions, which only tell you how to warm up this pie.

It’s a frozen pie. You can’t put it in the oven for 15 minutes at 250 and expect it to be done!

Paula, wherever you are, whatever you’re doing, even rednecks like you know better than this! Your pie, as presented, SUCKS!
