Ok, I don't know about any of her other pies because the only other ones I had seen were pies I hate, like apple, but during the winter of 2009 I was addicted to that Old Fashioned Fudge pie. Then they stopped carrying it and I no matter how many Wal-Marts I go to I can't find it.
And not once did I pay full price for it, even at the height of my addiction I don't think I could have paid that much. They are too expensive for folks around here and so were regularly on clearance. Now they still have them, just in smaller quantities.
I don't watch TV, don't know much about her, and don't really care. I know she is no where near as pervasive as Martha Stewart was. I have heard her before and yeah, her voice ranks right up with Fran Drescher and Gilbert Gottfried. She did come off as a little phony, but not anymore than most people on TV. I am from Georgia and have only seen a few of her recipes, but the ones I saw did look/sound kind of gross. I don't think there are any cooks on the Food Network that I like.
But what is up with the butter bashing? Really, who doesn't like butter? I'd rather hear some chef go on and on about butter than the rest who go on and on about extra virgin olive oil (blech).

Just tried the Paula Deen Double Crust Apple Pie...HORRIBLE! I could swear the apples were reconstituted DRIED apples from the thinness of the cut! I've made apple pies for 30 years...cutting them that thin would have turned the filling to applesauce! The crust was done so it Had to have cooked long enough but the apples were so TOUGH! Somethin's not right in the kitchen, Miss Deen...fess up!

As a follow-up to my previous comment, I bought an Aldi's Food Market frozen peach pie for $4.79 made by Belmont and it was very good. Aldi's Markets is owned by the same company as Trader Joe's. I see Paula Deen has moved on from pies to endorsing mattresses. Hopefully, someday she will find her niche and stay there. A Martha Stewart she is not. I think she loses much of her credibility on her cooking shows when she regularly sticks her finger into whatever she is preparing and samples it. Later when it's done she serves it to others. Is this what they call "down home." No wonder the Foodnetwork viewership is down.

My mother in law bought Paula Deen's apple pie from walmart for Thanksgiving and we all LOVED IT! It was delicious I have been trying to find it again since and have had no luck at all. It was the best store bought apple pie we've ever had.
