Dear Paula Deen, Please Stop Selling Your Nasty Pies At Wal-Mart

I don’t know how it happened, but somehow Food Network Humor became THE premiere place for people to bitch about how much they hated the Paula Deen pies they purchased at Wal-Mart. I get several emails a day from Paula’s dissatisfied customers, like this lovely one from Rick. Now I don’t know much about Rick, other than he likes fog, and he feels he could make a better pie than the gross one he got at Wal-Mart:
At this point, I’m hoping one of two things will happen:
1) Paula Deen will stop selling her soggy, nasty pies at Wal-Mart
or 2) People will stop e-mailing me about how much they hated her soggy, nasty pies from Wal-Mart
So this is my plea, dear internet: stop telling me how much you hated your Paula Deen pies and go complain to her directly. I am completely powerless and can’t do anything to help you. Her website is PaulaDeen.com, or you can complain to her on Twitter by clicking here.

Jillian- Did you ever think that the popularity of this website would lead to countless emails about Paula Deen pies? I find that funny. A little too funny.
Never in a million years! But everyone has their limit, and this is mine. You can only read so many emails every day about her nasty pies before you just say enough!
If you don’t already do so, I recommend a standard reply with Ms. Pauler’s contact information to these, er, “people.” Explain who you are, and why you don’t give a damn. It should be in the template of an automated message. Try to make them feel stupid for contacting you, too.

OMG. People are still complaining to you about her pies? They must be really bad. But you know she will never stop selling them at Wal-Mart! Money’s the name of the game!

I googled ‘Paula Deen’s Pies’ and Paula’s website is prominently displayed, so what’s with these NUMB NUTS? FNHumor’s the #11 website choice.
Were these the same idiots on 95 with me over Thanksgiving?
When I googled ‘Paula Deen pies’ and combinations of Walmart, sucks, and gross, I got FNH every time. I think they just think that they’re special and every single person needs to hear about their experience with this pie… even if we already know. Like um, there’s a post about how terrible it was. We already know. No one wants to hear from you about how you ALSO think it was terrible.
Serves them right for buying something of Pauler’s at all, especially at Wally World.
I don’t give a flying f*ck about Pauler’s Pies and have never been in a Walmart, but I just gotta praise Jillian for the “Horton Hears A Douche” sidebar! LMAO!

Unfortunately the continued ranting on here about Pauler’s pies will only continue to attract more attention and raise the site’s position in Google searches even further. Its a no win situation for Jillian.
Too bad Paula didn’t get hit in the face with one of her own pies last week instead of that ham.
In these times, the rich get richer, the poor get poorer and the stupid and the poor buy Deen’s nasty pies.
Have a look around at some of your fellow “people” traisping the aisles of Walmart either under their own steam or on their fatty tricyles. Most of them them are probably too lazy or stupid to make a pie from scratch.
Not impressive.
With apologies to Wal-Mart shoppers/FNH members, but WTF do people expect when they shop at Wal-Mart? The don’t make about 4 billion dollars a year by giving shit away for nothing? It might be the lowest price (11 lose liter items / week) but it’s also the lowest quality, hence cost, so they can make that profit. Anyone who shops there gets what they deserve… and less!

Yup, you want K-Mart quality, shop at K-Mart. You get what you pay for.
How about spending a few extra dollars and pick up a better quality pie at Baker’s Square?

I tried one of her pies the other day ..and it was ..okay. We should all know by now that Paula is not in it for the food she’s in it for the $$$$. You can’t really expect her food to be of the highest quality when she isn’t focused on her fans…or consumers…
Is it just me or is anyone else now kind of curious to try one of these pies to see just how bad they are?
@Justin :) In the words of P.T. Barnum… I think if you read the entire in addition to Jillian’s posting you will see this is not a time to think outside the pie box! Heed the warnings above… this never had a BEST before date. ;)
I had Paula’s apple pie & it was very good. Maybe he can’t think clearly for all that fog
I googled because I want to find one of her pie recipes. I have never cooked any of her recipes, but they look appetizing!
Her teeth are amazingly white and she is cheerful!
I haven’t tried the pies at Walmart. I guess I will try them, but ready-baked is never going to be the same as fresh.
I don’t know about Paula’s pies at Wal-Mart because I don’t shop at that store. However, I visited Lady & Sons back in 2006 and had the Pecan Pie. It was the best Pecan Pie that I ever ate. The recipe in her book is not good – although they claim is is the same on cooked at Lady & Sons – I think not. Just to be fair – the Pecan Pie that I ate was wonderful. I hope she takes these sub-par pies off the market. What a shame!

Paula Deen and Walmart, OMgosh I am addicted to ms. Deen’s Chocolate GOOEY BROWNIES BUTTER CAKE . They are worser than crack, I LOVE THEM, and I have my family and friends purchasing these all the time. we even have gathering with just them. I dont know what pies people have tried and dont care because that means it will be more chance of them not trying the Brownie lol. I have it tattoo’d on the brain and if I gain weight I will look for you (smile) we love you here is Slidell La. Keep those Brownies coming girl.

I should have asked my sister inlaw where she got the cakes before I thought great and made nothing for Xmas dessert !!!! I was embarrassed to serve it !!! It was that gross!!!!!
