And she still has that sourpuss look on her face. GACK I cannot stand her.

This summer, Food Network Magazine ran an ad promoting her new restaurant, Hot Dog Debbie’s. Well, the website still isn’t up – and the restaurant hasn’t launched – and they were hyping it up 6 months ago! I wonder what happened. Poor Debbie. No one wanted her gross breakfast hot dogs?

Maybe if Debbie had offered “Man Doo” hot dogs she would have done better? Hee!

Where on earth did you find that pic (the first one), Jillian? Too funny.

I bet Debbie wanted to sound interesting since she lost, but never really had serious plans to follow through with the korean hot dogs. her website still says it’s coming soon…it’s been coming for months!

I have higher standards, I only eat girl doo. Could this be a dish scraped off Pauler’s driveway?

Yeah, it’s Korean food (만두). Let’s make fun of some more funny-sounding foreign words. Because, you know, that’s funny.

Awww, a little sensative, are we?

Are you suggesting I/we need to grow up? I’m middle-aged, and still find childish things entertaining, so why start now?

Go watch Masterpiece Theatre or something a little more high-brow.

Aha, yeah no. It’s not even called that anymore. Oh the ignorance…

Love mandoo! I think it’s supposed to be one word and that’s why this ad is so funny. If Debbie is really Korean than she should put those skills to use and open a Korean BBQ.

Where exactly does Man Doo come from? Or should I ask “from whom?” And how great can it be if they are just giving it away? Makes me wonder…

Oh yeah – Thank you Jillian for confirming that Debbie was Korean. I had no idea! :)

yep – I’ve always seen it written “mandoo” as one word – delicious yummy dumplings.

as two words, it is kinda funny.

  11. December 9th, 2009

I was gonna ask about Debbie’s hot dogs, too. What happened with that venture??

Oh man, I had a cat named Mandu (Katmandu). So my mom lied and it wasn’t kitty heaven after all but a Korean take out place??!!!

I love Korean BBQ. The good stuff, not the stuff made out of stray dog and cat.

Jillian, you truly are retarded. Find something new to talk about, the same jokes about the same people are not funny anymore.

Mayhap you should think about finding a new site to troll, then.

There used to be a restaurant in the city where I live called Mandoo House of Dumpling. I’m sure the food was delicious but I don’t think “doo” and “dump” should comprise half of the name of any eating establishment, however authentic. I know that’s juvenile but I’m just sayin’…..

Korean BBQ is not uncommon – you’re acting like this is some outlandish new but it’s a traditional Korean way of food preparation…
