McDonalds had taken her money, told her they were out of McNuggets but refused to give her a refund. I've been on both sides of the fast food counter and the sheer stupidity that allows these situations to escalate into a national news event isn't surprising. What does surprise me is there was another McNuggest incident only a few weeks later. Incredible.
