Ace Of Cakes Now Filming In Hi-Def

According to the official Charm City Cakes Twitter account, Ace Of Cakes is now being filmed in high definition. As you may know, hi-def camera lenses shoot things in much higher quality. They also pick up and enhance all sorts of images that standard def cameras simply can’t see.
We just got our hands on some new hi-def Ace Of Cakes footage and carefully scanned it to see what we’ve been missing out on all these years:
So THAT’S what’s written on those clipboards!
Mystery solved.
It seems Charm City Cakes secretly employs
Oompa Loompas. I KNEW IT.
Poor Duff & Geof. Their secret is out.

She’s been there all along!
Hi-def is great for viewers, but often, it’s not so great for television personalities. Just look what it did to Liz Lemon! Will Mary Alice and Duff Goldman succumb to the same fate?

Ahhhhh. An old-school FNH post. I laughed. Cloris Leachman! So random.
Geof just looks like he always smells bad.
Not as bad as Duff. Does he ever take off that hat, and what’s crawling around underneath?
I think that Geoff is the one that gets those cakes out the door. He doesn’t look smelly…but Duff…he looks bad.
The Liz Lemon video had me rolling on the ground. I just watched it 5 times and it hasn’t gotten old.
I might have to stop watching Ace Of Cakes. Imagine all that fondant in 1080i. It would be blinding.
Forget the fondant in 1080i. It’s the macro shots of Duff’s goatee that would probably cause permanent eye trauma.
That crew will definitely have to upgrade their grooming standards.
Plus no more random body hairs on the cakes!

The Oompa Loompa cracked me up! This reminds me of the Tyler Florence lost fork post! That one is still one of my faves… Right along with Sandra Lee’s “I’m with stupid” holiday sweater!
Perhaps the hi-def will reveal stashes of weed lying around the bakery which keep them all so mellow…

Nah, I doubt if Duff could bag Cloris. She’s waaay out of his league.
Considering Goldman looks like a garden gnome, he’s pretty lucky ANY woman would consent willingly to be being his girlfriend.
This show and others like it make me loath to ever have an extreme cake. All that handling and fondling and mouth breathing……yuck.
I thought there would be at least one crack at Duff and Geof being gay and there being some evidence with this high definition camera :p
Have you all noticed the dirty fingernails a lot of them have? I mean, even if it’s fondant, they should clean it out for TV’s sake!
I was just thinking the same thing last night. For cakes that cost that much, I want them to wear gloves when making them! The one decorator had old, black nail polish that was flaking off her nails. Wouldn’t want to find that in my $400 cake!
I want to be Cloris Leachman! when I grow up.

Maybe now we will actually be able to see the haze of pot smoke that we all know permeates that entire bakery.
Finally! Watching AOC in fake HD strech-o-vision hurts my eyes. Plus seeing Katherine and Anna in HD won’t be so bad.
Oh Jeezus lord, I live down the block from these clowns and their zombie-proof-level-fortified bakery. Now I have to worry about being seen in the background when they’re outside? Wig time!
However… there is a bar across the street from them… so I might have take one for FNH and be the Oopma-Loompa…
$400 cake? Their minimum is $1000!
