The reason Ina invites people to parties and tells them what to bring is to be sure they bring the ‘good’ ingredients. Grocery store brand ice cream would ruin the party.

And the reason Ina can get away with it is that she can have you buried alive in her gardren if you don’t comply.

Great podcast! I’ll be subscribing as soon as I figure it out. ;-)

And is it just me, or does “Next Food Network Star” sometimes feel like “Top Chef Rejects”? Would any of these folks NOT be told by Padma to “pack their knives and go”? And how many current Food Network Stars could make it on “Top Chef Masters”? (At least Michael Chiarello was a finalist in Season 1, but he had already left FN years ago.)

Excellent first podcast. Was the perfect accompaniment to a run. My only minor suggestion would be to invest in some good audio equipment down the line, otherwise good stuff!

I don’t know how any of you like Shentessa though. One of these days I’m leaving a voicemail explaining why I think she’s a pretentious cow.

And I promise to dial back slightly on my Melissa dislike now. We need to hear the Tyler saga though.

Jillian, great job. I am a podcast junkie and this will be on my must listen to list. A video podcast would be nice, but hey!
