Cool podcast. How much more did AB donate, suprised you didn’t post that on the blog!
Cool podcast! How much more did AB donate?
Why is Alton Brown donating money?
He’s a biggest smug asshole on Food Network. Can’t watch Iron Chef for his arogant commentary.
Have you ever met the man? I have, twice, and he’s the exact opposite of everything you’ve said.
well it certainly sounds like y’all gals are having fun. thanks.
You both make me laugh out loud. Keep up the good work!
Great episode, just get new music for the beginning and ending. It is about as annoying as Guy Fieri’s face.
Thanks for the podcast. I share your hatred of Food Network Challenge. The Cupcake Wars show is equally boring/unwatchable. I no longer watch FN after 12 pm on Sundays as it is hour after hour of Challenge or DDD. Shame since I work the rest of the week.
So glad I listened to this.. 1. It was hilarious & entertaining, and 2. I had no idea you girls do Pophangover. just saw your 10 Funniest Vuvuzela Pics On The Net post and about died laughing. HAHAHA!! Seriously, funniest thing I have seen in a LONG TIME!!
You guys rock!
Loved the podcast, girls. I’m totally subscribing! But damn, that guy on the voicemail towards the end was pretty homophobic, eh? Kind of made me embarrassed for him.
I agreed with the caller. Also, I don’t think he sounded homophobic. Using “Miss Allen”, besides being hilarious, made think he might be gay.
he sounded gay to me…
I agree with Syd–the guy on the phone was pretty funny with his “Miss Allen” digs. Ted Allen has totally exposed himself as a complete farce. It was interesting to hear Jillian and Michelle talk about how Ted was the worst “Queer Guy” from the Queer Eye lineup–that’s so true!
FYI: Colbie Caillet was nominated for four Grammys this year around the time this season would have been filmed. She won for a song with Jason Mraz and was also featured on that Taylor Swift album that won everything. She’s still considered emerging in the eyes of the recording industry and her sales are solid.
Great podcast. Lots of fun to listen to.
Colbie Callait has a famous father, which explains how she’s gotten where she has. She was also too stuck up to give me an interview. So I’m not giving her any props. :P
ITA, Colbie Callait is awesome. I saw her in concert in Boston recently. She started out with terrible stage fright, and has gradually worked past it. Much like our next FN star competitors that have to learn to act on camera.
Also, can’t believe you didn’t discuss Dzintra’s shushing of Aria when talking to the judges. So awesomely awkward and hilarious and childish
I didn’t really criticize Dzintra for shushing Aria too much, because Aria is such an annoying loudmouth who seems like she runs her mouth nonstop.
J&M, great podcast. My daughter and I listed to it last night; had several lol moments. Oh, and thx for the shoutout! Feel like I’m almost famous now.
;-)
*crap* “listed” = “listened.”
Note to self: do not post on FNH before that 3rd cup o’ coffee.
Podcast was awesome.
I was also wondering why Paula is invading Michael’s. I was at a Michael’s a few days ago enjoying the music blasting through the store when all of a sudden, I hear Paula’s voice. I did a great big “what the heck?!” and shuddered. Keep your butter out of my craft store, Paula!!!
Why is that Alton is suddenly donating more money?
Did some other FN chef donate?
No, no other chefs donated. Alton is just that awesome.
just read the orginal post where Alton donated money to this site. wow, considering what the other hosts think of this site that’s extremely suprising that he would give anything let alone more cash. a tshirt from Ann Burrell is one thing but a hundred bucks. i could see him giving a tshirt or some token like that but money. must be nice to able to throw money around like that.
You go to movies .. you read books .. you buy board games .. things cost money. The site has given me more entertainment than the last 100 bucks I spent. :)
We’ve never seen any visible proof that he actually has, though.
Um, what sort of “proof” do you want? A copy of his paypal receipt? Come on.
Great podcast ladies! Your observations on TNFNS completely reflect mine and I LOVE the caption on the pic with Susie and Bob about not selling enough knives, totally priceless.
LOL @ “proof” AB donated to FNH! What’s wrong with people?!
Finally had a chance to upload the podcast to my iTunes and listen last night. LOVE IT!!! LOVE IT!!!! Can’t wait for more installments–I am most excited about dishing the dirt on TyFlo. YAY!
I love the Buckcherry reference :P
