Aaron Sanchez does not have an accent. He was born in Texas and raised in New York. He trills every R in everrrrything he says even when it is not necessary, required, or proper. He constantly talks about how great the spice was in food as he chugs water and has 2 more accomplished chef judges disagree with him. America is a melting pot and honestly I cherish that. But to repeatedly bring up your culture and get to the point of crying on national television because of how much it means to you seems to be going a bit far. . . especially when you are like so many others a second generation American. There are countless numbers of second generation citizens who do not make an intentional effort to say words with the accent, especially if it sounds like a bad parody of the actual language, that their parents used. Aaron appears obessed with never letting viewers think of him as anything but a minority. I find this odd because I would think that he would like to be known for what he is rather then just the token. He will always give nothing but praise for anyone who cooks anything spicy or anything ethnic because it allows him to tell a little story and use words like Paella or Pico De Gallo". I believe Aaron Sanchez to be one of the most self centered, insecure and arrogant chefs I have ever heard talk. And anyone who has ever worked in the food industry knows that is quite a title.

Correct me if I'm wrong (I'm not fluent in spanish) but wouldn't it make more sense to put those verbs into the command form rather then leave them in the infinitive? For example instead of COMER (to eat) it should be COME or instead of BEBER (to drink) it should be BEBE. Just my opinion...

I hear you, bro!

How dare people with an accent continue to use that accent when they say words from other languages! How dare they call a place the term they've used all their life! They should be a lot more sensitive.

Do they really go out of their way to call it Nueva york or is nueva york just the name of the place in spanish? Maybe Sandra Lee needs to come up with an Arizona cake for the people in this thread.
