One Photo, Ten Photoshops: Anne Burrell Edition

Published on: July 30, 2010 – 8:41 pm by Jillian Madison Comment

Anne Burrell is in Atlantic City this weekend, participating in their annual Food and Wine Festival. Earlier today, she took a moment to tweet a photo of her enjoying the sights.

The photo was a perfect candidate for one of my favorite features from Pophangover, “One Photo, Ten Photoshops.” Let’s do it!

I was cracking up at the ET picture…..and then I got to the Jaws and just about lost it. Too funny!

Seriously, who ever told her she looks good in a skirt?

atdleft replied on: July 31st, 2010 at 4:39 pm

Chef Anne looks good in whatever she wants to wear. She’s one of the few real chefs left on FN, and she actually cooks good grub and makes it FUN! Just relax and enjoy the show. :-)

You could relax too, you know. Her linebacker stature doesn’t take anything away from her cooking ability.

“Her linebacker stature doesn’t take anything away from her cooking ability.”

We’re all built differently. Who cares? What you find “ugly” may turn someone else on in a major way.

And seriously, who cares anyway? Whatever happened to “Food Network” actually being about FOOD?

“Whatever happened to “Food Network” actually being about FOOD?”

Come on now, we know that answer… “Food Network” hasn’t had anything to do with real food since like… it’s second year on the air. I think they just realized that “The Manufactured-Drama Competition, Cake, Alcoholism, and Insultingly Dumbed-Down Cooking Network” was too long of a title, so they decided to just keep calling themselves FN.

I truly believe Anne can ride big bad sharks! Well, after she hits them with salt in the eyes…

  5. July 30th, 2010

I lost it on the shark one, that was just too perfect. And yes, she *does* look good in a skirt <3

  6. July 30th, 2010

Very funny, love the fact she’s carrying a “Louis.” Think it’s real? She doesn’t strike me as the Louis type.

    |
Azizeh replied on: August 3rd, 2010 at 3:03 am

Probably real. I’m sure her show pays well and it’s what I consider “cheap” Louis, in the $800 range. Sure, that’s not cheap for a regular purse, but as far as LV goes, it’s at the bottom.

  7. July 30th, 2010

LOL @ the Jaws one, that’s too funny.

  8. July 30th, 2010

    Perfect 10

Should’ve gone with changing the poster to different things at least a little bit, just to change it up. ShamWoW and the WW2 shop were the only actually funny ones. All the others are just “lol I put Anne in a different place, haha I’m so random!” and that’s the kind of low-effort crap I expect from Fark, not this site.

jenna replied on: July 30th, 2010 at 10:52 pm

“To change it up?!?!?!” Are you kidding? There were silhouettes, black and whites, and even Anne Burrell in a fucking sonogram. This was some of the most creative stuff I’ve seen in a while.

    I love you FNH!

You know, I didn’t think they were all winners, but the ones I was amused by were quite different than the ones you apparently were. Personally, I found the Harry Potter and hula girl ‘chops to be pretty hilarious.
It’s weird, it’s almost as if a humorist would use a wide-variety approach to appeal to a large range of comedic tastes. /sarcasm

My favorite was her taking the pepper mill to the dump. If you watch Burrell, you know she loathes pepper. Nice subtle humor! As bob tuschman would say, I dug it.

To whoever talks with Anne via Twitter…..did she ever comment about the sex dream I had about her maybe, possibly??? I myself don’t have Twitter, so I was just curious if she mentioned it, since it has been confirmed that she does occasionally read this stuff.
