FNH reader Mikaela snapped this photo and sent it in to us the other day. Apparently, the Cooking Channel thinks Jamie Oliver is female! I know I included him in our list of Top 10 Famous Foodies That Look Like Lesbians, but come on. Get it together, guys!

    Blasphemy!!!
I find him so cute…he’s like, the clean hippie that I never met in Dead parking lots in the late 80s-early 90s :P

  3. Lana says:

And Jamie is probably the cutest lesbian ever!
    ;-)

  4. Bonzy22 says:

  6. BOO says:

Well, I guess she sure utilized those zucchinis!

  7. Di says:

I doubt that Jamie is worried

Remember Van Halen “Oh whoa whoa, Jamie’s crying…”?

  9. SaraCVT says:

I have a dear female friend named Jamie; however, I am aware that Jamie Oliver is male. Apparently, I am more aware than this person is. And I’m not even a huge fan of Mr. Oliver. How many brain cells does this job take, anyway?

  10. Mac says:

I wonder if this was a man that wrote the description… surely it was much more pleasant to imagine a female utilizing zucchinis in her “garden”.

I saw this over the weekend as well and laughed. If only I had the ability to do TV screen grabs. :)

It is reassuring to see that FN has taken the same writers to the Cooking Channel. Such expertise! So glad we have Bob Tooshman and Suzy Foo Foo overseeing all that POV and “authority” that we have come to associate with FN.

  13. Linda says:

I saw this too–I don’t think the culprit is FN this time–I think it’s whoever does those channel blub things. This isn’t the first time I’ve seen something like this..;-)

Right. We have AT&T U-Verse, and for a long time, whenever there would be a listing for “Roseanne,” it would show the star as being Roseanne Scamardella. WHERE this came from, I have no idea. Roseanne Scamardella was a New York news anchorperson, and the inspiration (at least in name) for Roseanne Roseannadanna from ’70s Saturday Night Live.
