BTW, I totally cannot watch Paula’s Party, but I loved the way this guy made fun of her “accent.”

But in this kind of situation, she really turns it on and fits in. I thought she really held her own with Ferguson and gave him a lot of competition. She really didn’t miss a trick. I could watch her in this kind of show.

She gave Craig a run for his money and matched him innuendo for innuendo. Good job , Pauler!!!!

But… she sure turned up the accent here which tells me that probably most of the accent she uses on TV is manufactured. Jam has become a two syllable word as has ham. “Ja-yam”. While oil remains one syllable “Eerl”

And in addition to the accent, her voice was much huskier than usual. It sounded like she smoked a carton of Marlboros and also threw back a pint of bourbon or two. She sounded like one of those old ladies with whiskey voices.

But nitpicking aside I liked this skit a lot. It seemed like a lot of fun. Much better than the “Paula’s Best Meals” I saw part of yesterday morning where she made a pie crust that had a record amount of fat in it. I can’t imagine how the thing would bake without all melting down the sides of the pie dish , sliding into the filling. Gross
