Hahaha, the winning drawing is awesome!
Those are really funny! Thanks for pulling ‘em all together.
Suggested caption for #7:
“WHY SO SERIOUS?”
The “archbishop” one reminds me more of the Unibomber.
I think the Unibomber would have made a great Food Network Star…
That’s so wrong. Funny, but wrong. :-P
Most of these look like police composite sketches, which is very fitting because Alton has the face of an unforgiving rapist. I think the first picture, Alton in, what appears to be black-face, is the creepiest.
Scary any way you look at him. The ones that resemble him most closely are the skeeviest. Not roasting that chicken tonight, kids!
I kind of like Muppet Alton.
I don’t like the winner at all. Yes, I got the art reference. sorry guys.
If you can’t actually draw Alton’s face……. stick a fish in front of it?
One of the pics looks like an old composite of the Zodiac killer.
Not sure why anyone would want to purchase an autographed photo of Alton Brown on eBay.
We had someone here once on FNH who I am sure would jump at the chance. Not that I understand it, mind you.
I’m kinda lovin’ the Etch-a-Sketch one. :)
Ditto. Though I really can’t complain about the winner. But Etch-a-Sketch is a strong runner-up.
My first thought about third from last – “but he isn’t Canadian!” … ugh.
I had that exact same thought – “since when was Alton Brown Canadian?” LOL
Now I have “Blame Canada” stuck in my head. Damn you, South Park guys…
Oh, I was wondering about that. My first reaction seeing that picture was “oh, I didn’t know he was Canadian.”
I’m just relieved that this wasn’t a repeat of the “Send me a picture of what’s in you refrigerator” disaster.
the winning picture – way too ifeminite and i didn’t know alton brown had cerebral palsy?
The 6th one down looks like Robert Irvine.
But I love the Hello Alton one so much!
I’d have thought at least one person would have drawn a penis with glasses, oh well.
Yeah…sight-challenged, creepy serial killer, warted penis face pretty much would sum up the challenge.
Anyone else see the first drawing and have the “AHHHHH!!! KILL IT WITH FIRE!!” reaction?
Can you really draw separate characters and lines like that on an Etch-A-Sketch?
I recall you were stuck with one line that you could twist and turn direction with, but you could not skip across the page and write an A or B.
Maybe they’ve improved them.
Good observation, Chris. Hmmmm….
oh SHIT that last one scares me.
Drawn well, but damn, that’s a mischievous look
“Archbishop Alton” looks like he was drawn by Mike Judge.
