  1. Jp says:

It definitely wouldn’t surprise me if they’ve done a turd cake before…

  2. byrdie says:

    LOL!!

  3. Scruffy says:

Was that in tribute of Sandra Lee’s meatloaf?

  4. Panna Cotta says:

    Hahaha oh wow.

  5. Alex says:

They made a cake that looks like what it will end up as. Well, that’s how most of their cakes look and taste anyway.

  6. lostinplace says:

sadly i am not surprised at anything that could be created on Ass of Cakes, turds included; not to mention who might want a cake topped with “giant golden tree frogs” in the first place????

  7. Jille says:

Maybe he was inspired by the pool scene in Caddyshack!

  8. sue!bee says:

That’s another reason why I watch Cake Boss instead. Buddy’s cakes tastes as good as they look.

    • leah says:

I prefer Cake Boss to Ass of Cake. Buddy, at least helps decorate the cakes and doesn’t make an ass of himself, which Duff does all the time.

      • MMMichelle says:

I would watch that. But I can’t stand screeching old Italians. I dunno, Jersey Shore cracks me up, but if I have to listen to that old dried up bitch on cake boss with her high horse morals scream at every one…Hmm. Can you tell I come from an Italian family?

  9. Lana says:

Would only be interesting if it was Pauler’s turd.
    *gak*

  10. Lexxy says:

I always wondered if you eat a cake from Charm City Cakes if you’ll die from the amount of Styrofoam and cardboard you ingest.

  11. dippydog says:

Did anybody else think it was a little funny that not long after Cake Boss aired an episode where they made a car – almost entirely out of things you could actually eat I think – that Ace Of Cakes had an episode where they made a complete motorcycle? I didn’t see the AOC episode, so can someone tell me how much of it was actual cake?

  12. Diane says:

This had me laughing out loud! Thanks for the chuckle, Jillian. :)

  14. Numb says:

Despite the comments about Charm City’s cakes tasting bad, I’ve heard nothing but good things regarding the actual flavor. Sure, they’re ungodly expensive and needlessly decorated, but I would honestly be willing to bet they taste better than 90% of the other wedding cakes in the world (yes, I know they do more than wedding, but honestly weddings are the superbowls of the cake world). I know he looks like a burnt-out river troll, but Duff *was* the pastry chef at the French Laundry, arguably the best restaurant in the world… so I’m sure the dude knows how to make a delicious dessert.

  15. KarenK says:

I have to agree. My parents bought my husband and I a CCC cake for our wedding and we were pretty pleased with it. We went to the bakery for the tasting/designing and they delivered it for us. It was beautiful and delicious.

    • Bety says:

I love their cakes, I think Buddy and his NJ crew are old school, and some of their cakes are so ugly. I do know I would rather work at CCC than Carlo’s bakery. They act like morons, talk like idiots and are cruel to one another. Mary is a pathetic excuse for a human being and its just so unprofessional. I can’t stand watching it. USE Guys…..do you remember the terrifying Bunny Cake? if you look it up, kids had nightmares…the old school cake for all the people on the Empire state Bldg? and tons of others…and yes I have watched, but have to change the channel after getting so annoyed.

ewww, don’t like duff, he is disrespectful, said bad things About Buddy. So is this the coming end of fnh? I signed up for the board but never got the email to, activate.

clicked contact, on the front page, not working. Clicked administrator, that did nothing as well.

paula deen and her brother are being sued by a former worker in their restraunt.
