RIDICULOUS FOOD NETWORK RECIPE OF THE WEEK: Dark Chocolate As A Snack
It’s Friday! That means it’s time to showcase another ridiculous recipe from the Food Network’s annoying website! I usually write a few snarky sentences to go along with each recipe, but this week, I literally have no words whatsoever. It’s just that bad.
Move over, Rachael Ray’s Late Night Bacon. Move over, Paula Deen’s English Peas. Make way for Ellie Krieger’s masterful “recipe” … DARK CHOCOLATE AS A SNACK:

That’s not a recipe! It’s not even a serving suggestion! IT’S NOTHING! At least there were actual STEPS involved with the late night bacon. This is just a joke!
There are currently only 5 reviews – but the Food Network has obviously been deleting some of the comments since one reviewer named CMSAS referenced a “freakin awesome” review that is no longer posted there.
Now if you’ll excuse me, I’m hungry and need to find a snack. Food Network, please post a recipe for “bag of pretzels” because I could really go for some.
(Thanks for sending this gem in, Valerie!)

Giada’s New Redbook Cover

Giada landed the cover of Redbook Magazine again (for the February 2011 issue)! It’s already on newsstands, so you’ve probably seen her lollipop head and giant smile secretly mocking you while buying a pint of Ben & Jerry’s at the supermarket at least once by now. In this issue, Giada did her part to set the women’s movement back 25 years by basically saying women have to treat men like kings, or they’ll run off and screw another woman. Here’s Giada’s exact quote, courtesy of YumSugar:
All men want to be treated like kings in a relationship, and I think if women don’t indulge that, their men are likely to stray and look for someone who can give that to them.
So take heed, heterosexual women of the world! Let your man make all the decisions, or he’s going to start screwing someone else.
Thanks for the tip, Giada!

Matthew McConaughey Will Be On Guy’s Big Bite

Apparently for no other reason than to promote his ugly line of JK Livin apparel (that’s Just Keep Livin’ – with the letter “G” removed because it’s much cooler that way), Matthew McConaughey will be on a special episode of Guy’s Big Bite this Saturday, December 18 at 8 pm EST. This is a match made in heaven, considering how much McConaughey and Fieri have in common. They’re both middle aged douchebags that you sort of just want to kick in the groin without really knowing why. They have annoying voices, fugly wardrobes, phony personalities, and in 10-15 years no one will remember who the hell they were.
The good news is that if the world doesn’t blow up as a result of them blasting through the airwaves, the episode should be hilarious. There’s McConaughey cooing over “fresh squeezed lime juice” like it’s liquid gold. There’s Fieri wearing a hideous JK Livin visor that makes him look like his double-wide is parked out front. And of course, there’s the two of them playing an impromptu bongo interlude. Give me a fucking break.
Keep living… er- LIVIN… that rockstar dream, Fieri. And McConaughey, keep your shirt on and your marijuana hidden this time, you tool.

THIS WEEK: Another tailgating weekend! Alex G's onion rings, an awful slow cooker experience, Ina & Jeffrey Garten's lame steak throwdown, Jennifer Hudson's annoying Weight Watchers commercial, Restaurant Impossible's cheap makeovers, and more.
