Every once and awhile, I like to take a break from the Food Network snark and showcase some interesting stuff going on in the world of food. Obacchi Jacket Lunch Box is selling Bento boxes (traditional Japanese lunch boxes) that have been decorated to look like album covers… and they’re AMAZING. Everything is edible, and the lunches are made with ingredients like nori, fruit skins, spices, and rice. These were my favorites – but you can stop by their website to check out many more!

20 accidentally phallic fried foods to make your inner 12 year old laugh:

“Push here to open?” Yeah, RIGHT. More like “stab here with knife, fork, pen, pencil, nail file, belt buckle, or other miscellaneous pointy objects.”
Calling all Food Network fans!
Have you been wasting hours, sulking miserably around your office, because you haven’t been able to convince a famous celebrity chef to go on a cruise with you? WELL SULK NO MORE, ’cause the Food Network is now in the travel business!
No, seriously! They are!
This new foray into the cruise business, which Food Network cleverly named “Food Network At Sea,” means we ordinary folk can now rub Caribbean sun-kissed elbows with some of the network’s biggest personalities. And boy, did they pull out the big headliners for their first trip… CAT CORA AND AARON SANCHEZ!
[crickets]
How much will it cost? The 7-day Caribbean cruise will set you back $1500 per person for a cramped ocean view stateroom. Prices go all the way up to $4600 per person for the royal suite.
[crickets]
I know it sounds like a lot, but the price includes “VIP Pier-side check-in” and “Enriching Culinary Demonstrations” by Cat Cora and Aarón Sánchez!
[crickets]
AND, you get to have your photo taken with Cat and Aaron! ON A RED CARPET!
[crickets]
SO, WHO’S GOING?
[cricketssssssssss]
I just have two more comments:
1) WHAT IN THE HELL?
and 2) HOW OLD IS THAT PHOTO OF AARON SANCHEZ? I don’t think he’s looked like that since 1998.
I haven’t had much time to watch the Food Network this week, so instead, here’s a collection of 40 foods and beverages with hilariously unfortunate names. Some of them are foreign, and you can tell things definitely got lost in translation:

It’s a slow news day, so let’s play Guess The Mystery Gadget!
We honestly didn’t know what these things were at first, but these were our 3 best guesses:
1) Old coils from the Neely’s broken bed
2) Paula Deen’s newest line of earrings
3) Embossed, colored strands of Susie Fogelson’s hair
Leave your guesses in the comments section, or head over to Amazon see what they really are.
