oh_come_on commented on the blog post Jeffrey Saad Gets New TV Show With THE LAMEST NAME EVER 18 hours, 47 minutes ago · View
This title reminds me of Showtime’s The United States of Tara (a woman struggling with a multiple personality disorder). Apropos that Jeffrey’s talent with spices gets thrown under the bus for pizza and donuts. Don’t get it, but I like him, so I’ll watch once.

Romper Room show. Between the ‘…Indians eat….Indians love…’comments, the wretched wallpaper and the giggling I had a headache.

This was the most uncomfortable ‘match’ I’ve seen him do. The humor wasn’t funny, the bashing wasn’t humorous and the blindfolded groupies KNEW her BBQ Burger was on the right, come on now, we’re not that stupid! Her husband’s still a greaseball.

Aarti Party
The Next Food Network Star winner Aarti Sequeira is bringing her beloved Indian flavors to everyday dishes. They’ve kicked Aunt Sandy to the curb and put Mz Party on ahead of Mommy McBacon. Probably hoping Mz Party’ll lure more watchers for Melissa’s horrid show.

I think Touschman would love to peg Aria into something, just like that lameass Kelsey Nixon (infamous for making boxed chocolate pudding and calling it mousse?) who is now getting her own show on Cooking Channel. She’s horrid now, was horrid when she competed, but Touschman sees something in her the rest of us don’t, [...]

Methinks we WILL be seeing Herb, the prozac poster child, again. Susie keeps reinterating his ’star power’ which I never saw. Taping the family snaps on the camera was the end for me. Plus haven’t we talked about his ‘POV’ cooking with flavor? Ahhh duh, what would you cook with, cow dung?

Her weirdness is oddly appealing (to me anyway). Her ‘big meat’ ‘oh yeah baby’ and ‘nesses’ added to adjectives isn’t unlike other FN ‘foodies’ who moan, mini-orgasm and groan over what they’ve just prepared (a la Giada, Claire, Alex….) Regardless she can cook, so I applaud her.

“I was curious and checked out Aarti’s blog to see if I could make some of her recipes. They were very entertaining and straight forward. Go Aarti!” Good for FN then Lizz, you’ll be one of the 5-10 people who watch Aarti’s Paarti and comment positively on her food. She’ll still be a failure, just [...]

They talk about their dead mothers waaaay too much, only to garner the judges’ sympathy. I remember Susie crying at the table when Melissa recounted her mother’s ‘hard life’. Haven’t heard ANYthing about her dead mother since we won have we? Hmmmmm, how very artificially interesting.

This happens more than you know. Recently on a Melissa McBacon’s recipe they left out the what amount of pork tenderloin. She’s not the only ding-dong at FN.

Thought “Bros Icing Bros” would be hot naughty boys covering each other with canned whipped icing (recommended Betty Crocker) with almond ‘eggstract’ added and then licking it off. First one finished wins. Yay Aunt Sandy!
